Well today went to plan. First the standard gauge got ballasted.
Then it was physio afternoon, so to stop me from crying, I ran a train or two.
Platform 2 isn't normally used for WGLR passenger services, but No.4 was shunted in that way to check clearances.
All was well (just), so we set off for another scenic tour of the Wetton Valley while the Stainz sits sizzling away next to the coal stage.
A big day tomorrow - a state visit from the royal family of a certain central European state. Their Olympic team has choosen Gooey as their training camp, so all details have to be agreed and local hostelries checked for food quality. Unfortunately I can't name the country in question due to the heightened state of security, but photos may appear this time tomorrow. Iolo Williams has us all on red alert .......... even though it meant changing the light bulb.
