Goad the Timber is holding up well. You could certainly consider Filcris Plastic Deck or Ladder on your rebuild. Everlasting and a lot less work than Bricks, Foundations and Cement. Some issues with expansion, but if you secure track loosely you can get away with it. We have on my mates 0 Gauge Line.
