Well progress has been slow. Well stopped really as work on the house sort of took over.
But today I managed some proper testing wiv passenger stock. No more of this light engine stuff.
Had a shed load of stuff to do today after coming back off my hols (mostly washing cos SWMBO was back at work), but managed to run a short passenger service while I was in the garden.
So things have been quiet for while out in the garden. But I have been busy doing indoor stuff. Need to get my village sorted for spring, so the order of the day recently has been buildings.
TM Models cottage with a small extension made up from parts from another kit.
Extended Model town Corris cottage bashed from 2 Corris kits.
GRS BoB English Church.
Once these are done I`ve got a pub and post office to build.
Getting on for 5 years since you started the line, how is your deck standing up to the test of time? After 8 years of the Ruschbahn we found some of the deck at the bottom of Mountains that were constantly wet had started to fail. Constant contact with Earth or Damp never too good with decking.

So far so good at the moment Jon. The stuff in the borders under the trees etc is slightly raised off the ground on waste pipe "stilts", only the timber that's out in the open is genuinely at ground level, and so far is holding up OK.
This was always meant to be my "temporary" solution to getting the track down, but I think a more permanent rebuild is on the cards probably next year.
