Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Hi Alan, Many thanks for a great afternoon, was good to see you and John again and run some trains. Had a good run home - 45 minutes door-to-door - nice drive across the Marsh and along the coast.

Just having some dinner, will most some more pics later.

Trust the Kiddo is suitably impressed by the cardi and sweater....think he really wishes he was born in an earlier era:laugh:

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

Missed getting a pic of the pignose railcar John. Too busy watching it. Hope Keith got a picture.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

I love the VW Transporter and the trams - are they RTR items or scratch built?

I can see that my move into G scale was a very bad idea..... all these wonderful models!

I guess you can say that I'm now fully addicted to G :admire:

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your post. All the items running today are RTR. The VW van is made by Brekina whilst the trams and all other items are by LGB.

Not sure if you have joined the G Scale Society but if you have not would suggest that you consider joining. I'm not a "clubby" sort of person but I've found membership of the society most helpful in furthering my interest in G scale - visiting other peoples railways really helped me in developing my own railway.

There is an active local group of the G Scale Society in Sussex (I used to be their Treasurer even though I live in Kent!!) who hold Open Days during the summer and arrange an indoor end-of-year show at Herstmonceaux. Please PM me if you need any more information.
