The Ochsenwaldbahn II, it all starts again.

Looking forward to seeing a completed lap time alan

Realistic speeds of course !

Liking the sweeping curves Alan.

14ft diameter Aristocrafts Paul - from GRS at silly knockdown price at Peterborough last year.

One of each alan..just for comparison purposes

It has been a lot of work and a long time coming, but this afternoon we closed the loop. Roughly 400 ft of track (and track base!) but it's worth it.
The last section to be built.-

I wonder did you see my Article of a Railway I built at Hertford that was written up in Garden Railway World No.4 May/June 1989? I remember lots of correspondance and phone calls with Tom Cooper as he tried to get his head around what I had done (all due it has to be said to my poor writing skills). Interestingly that issue had a first Review of the Live Steam LGB Frank S as well.

Hi Jon,

Back in 1989 I was living in Japan and didn't get into garden railways until the early naughties by which time I had returned to the UK. As I bought my first G-scale stuff from Tim at Arcadia it could have been him who had suggested the celcon blocks.

I do remember your early steps Keith - recorded on G Scale Mad.

So, have you got a free weekend, to come and do mine? ;):giggle::shake::shake:

When's the open day? :clap::nod::nod::nod:

Well done! Especially working on it this time of year.. :):)
