The Ochsenwaldbahn II, it all starts again.

I can finally see a gap in my busy timetable to get the digger in. So this weekend was a tidy up and the start of the rebuild.

Old route on the left - new on the right.

Finding the time when you have a busy work schedule is always tricky, but you have certainly got things on the move. Hope all the brambles have been tamed.I hade a good few to trim back when I lifted that Railway the other week. Fortunately I did not need to worry about them moving forwards.

and I am happy to say the blinking trampoline has been consigned to the scrapheap.
That's a shame Alan, just picture you bouncing on it, Navi in hand trying to see the train at the far end of the line. :)

Looking forward to seeing the progress alan

A little further over the last two or three evenings. The ivy needs to be cleared by the digger but I have loose laid the boards on old bricks to check the levels as i need to get down to a 'lawn mower' crossing.

Checking the locos will pull what I expect them to on the new gradients.
The Rugens will do 6 bogie coaches but the little Fransberg struggled with three. The Harz Bulle doesn't seem to care much!

Decking from Cladco. 4.2 meter boards are £15.80 but they do charge a hefty delivery charge but I didn't pay that as I had nearly 4 grands worth for a clients job.

What do you mean - 'pics did not appear' - seems OK from here?

They have appeared today so may have been a Connectivity issue. Fransburg looks fine with just 2, or perhaps 2 x 4 wheel coaches and a 4 wheel van?
I see 'em?
Should go to Specsavers JD....
went a month or two ago!

Digger (and driver - more efficient than me) booked for next week. So I need to get a few things cleared before hand. But rebuilding seems more fun!

Rebuilding the station approach to Wittersheim.
