The Forest Railroad

Since the outside loop was first laid, the cross over into the large loop and access to the wood yard sidings, has always been problematic for larger stock. so today I decided to re lay the track with some flexi track bringing the line around the curve. Then move the cross over more to the left, just need a point to re connect them. larger trains now can run a lot smoother.

The plan was always to have an American siding at the front of the layout, so today a spare slab was laid , r5 point inserted , track connected and buildings put in place. I have a piko American station building that will be placed on the corner of the outside line when I get around to assembling the kit!

:worried:

Jemma has gone above and beyond.. Attempting to jolly-along Finance. - Who kept saying things were wrong / not complete.

The hire car has been dropped off at the dealership, and will be collected tomorrow.. It should have similar amount of fuel (tick) and be washed-over. - Garage I went to has all the signage and 'wash tunnel' but no longer has the machinery..
Jemma has arranged for it to be washed over there..
Everything was finally sorted at (just after) 6pm, so too late for me to get back there.
Jemma is going to deliver it to me in her lunch-break tomorrow.

Will definitely be getting praises heaped on, when I do the review..
