The CWLR (Charlwood Light Railway)

The last passenger train of 2013 ran earlier today, hauled by number 2, it is seen here passing lake siding;


The railway will now pretty much hibernate till the new year whilst I catch up with building and rolling stock projects.

The railway has now woken up from its winter slumber, just in time for a new delivery for the motive power department!

A few pictures from the last couple of weekends;

A photo taken from the guards van as No5 zips down the back straight with a short PWay train,

A slightly brave shot taken from cottage crossing as the same PWay train

I took a wander over to Charlwood Station last weekend and found No.2 being prepped for service;



A short while later, the loco moved out onto platform 2 whilst the fireman went to have a word in the signalman's ear.



I took the train up to Lake, where later on No.2 hustles past with a short pick up goods.

It's been far, far too long since I've updated this thread!

Unfortunately due to the photobucket scandal all the previous pictures on this thread have disappeared, so here are some new ones...

No.3 simmers outside the station building at Charlwood between trains;

It then shunts back onto the mainline;

Ready to go;

Somewhere along the line;

Arriving at Top End;

Returning to Charlwood;

Before handing over to No.1;

Later on at the end of the day, both locos sit on shed at Charlwood;

Not a lot going on today;

No.1 shunts the log wagon on to the front of it's train;

Coming up the bank into the now under reconstruction Top End;

Sitting on the new Level Crossing;

Through the Trees having left Top End;

On the way back;

(As you can see the station is still very much under construction!)

And on the way home;

Thanks Jon, it is indeed a shame. I post on a number of different forums for the various different scales that I'm involved in and many of my threads have been ruined by it!
I do still have copies, in various different places, but matching captions to individual photos would be a challenge!
