Sorry for my absence - I have got a note somewhere in my pocket! 8|
Anyhow, I'll spare you the excuses, though there's been a lot of this going on........

The long drawn-out winter had taken its toll on both the "Rowlands Mix" ballast and in some places, the track foundations, so major civil engineering has been called for!

I'm happy to report that the overhaul is more-or-less complete now - just in time for Summer running (if it stops raining!)

There's even been the opportunity to fit in some other projects - a Faller railbus for re-gauging;

and a little extra interest for "Gala Days"

Now, we're into "Flaming June" and I hope everyone is getting some good running sessions in - and I promise to try and keep up from here on

that's the downside of using a Flymo, plus 12 months worth of rain "splashback"

Not to worry though, the decorators have made a start at the Westwood end of the line - they just have to work their way round now

Sorry chaps, no "eye candy" this time, but with a day off and wall-to-wall sunshine I couldn't resist a running session

I also managed a short video of my old Salem models diesel, now fitted with the R/C card with inbuilt sound from the latest playmobil diesel, doing a bit of shunting and running;
