The Barkley Garden Loop

Between cold temperatures and then being home for work for a few weeks, there hasn't been much progress. However, the tulips are have come up! We have a few days of rain on the forecast, but pretty soon I'll be able to get back to work on things

Well, after months of inactivity and sporadic progress, I finally have a mostly functional and generally nice looking garden railway!

Still plenty of work to be done, the front "trestle bridge" is a particular eyesore and definitely not level, but it's functional.

I also need to get a more powerful transformer/power pack. The one I have only outs out one amp, which is fine but I'd like a little more oomph. I can't get enough juice for my Nicki+ Frank S to get around the loop, due to the powered tender.

But, for now, this is what I've got

When I was helping a friend out with his smaller scale garden line we had a big gap to pass over, I cut a large bridge out of wood using one arch of Maidenhead as a concept, if you were worried about using wood recycled plastic would work or UPVC Soffit material.
