Swiz Back scenes for mountains

Hi
I have used photos and had them blown up by a sign maker to about 3.5m x 2m. The printers use a vinyl sheet and use a very large inkjet to print the picture.
As long as your photo is as large resolution as you can make it, the printout will be fine especially as the background will be viewed at a few feet.

The only problem is to hang it flat as possible and to coat the sheet in a matt varnish. This will get rid of most reflections.
Here are a few photos of my one that I have used behind a town on my layout. You can see that I have mot made it as flat as I should have.
The town has also changed a bit from lumber town to mining town!

Nicely done...really blends in beautifully :)

It's the scale of the background that does it, I've been looking at your photo's and they are just fantastic! everything just sort of blends in at the right perspective to be believable.
