Summer running on the Kittatinny Mt RR

Shawn

Hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing
The guys had some time to take the Mogule out along the new outer loop before the thunderstorms and flash floods hit. The Mogul is slowley getting a more weathered/used look to it.

Then the guys had to call it a day as the storms were starting to roll in.

Cracking pic's Shawn

Thanks Jame. The Mogul is an LGB #2028D. I have been wanting one since I started G scale but was not willing to pay the asking price. One of our club members sold it to me for $175. I could not pass it up. It spent most of its life on a shelf and in the box, never been run. I repainted it and next step is to add RC.

Been following your work Shawn (here and in GR, great article by the way!) and have to say I love how the line has matured, looks just right, another simple line that has great charm. Plus that LGB mogul is great, looks like a real loco now! I have to say its always been one of the LGB loco's I have been a bit ambivalent about, as when I have seen them they tend to look a tad plastic toy, but not here

Beautiful as always Shawn. Your line just continues to show us how to get a deep backwoods atmosphere :bigsmile:
