For sale LGB Post Van. Very good condition as rarely run.

Metal wheels, sliding doors. Includes lighting: external rear lights, factory fit internal light in sorting office, retrofit roof light main body (the latter is old style screw in bulb, round connectors). Extra coupler fitted. Original box.

Bargain for someone. A pair of those working rear lanterns, metals wheels and pickups would cost more than that so van is practically free. I already have two though, one converted to a nice DR Rügen line baggage car in a thread elsewhere on here.

How did you find the Bernd Betz wheel control units (from the LGB 67900 thread)? I now have a rake of RhB container wagons that seem to have issues.

Hi, interested, how are the light powered?
 
They generally have wheel pickups so lights powered from track, might need higher powered bukbs if used with DCC, just run till old ones blow and then replace oh hang on they may the older screw ones in which case not such a simple job. But as said a very good bargain for someone. Surprised it has not already been snapped up.

Have to say that I should be tempted, it would help make my Milk/Mail Van Fleet of 5 a little bit more standard. But then what would I so with the different type of van taken out of the Milk Fleet?
 
Hi Jimmy, lighting as follows:

1. Factory fit tail and sorting office light powered from track via metal wheel sets
2. Retrofit main cabin light currently powered by connection to loco lighting socket or similarly connected coaches. However there are two "bus bars" lying along the bottom of the cabin connecting the wheels to the factory fit lights. You could attach the cabin lights here and have it lit as an indpendent unit.

Very pleased with them. I have 5 sets all different axle lengths. They really help on tight curves.
