Solar Lighthouses & Windmills

I went into B & M on Friday & just inside the door were a pile of solar lighthouses & windmills at £9.99. The best price I have seen.
The bad news is my lighthouse is going back tomorrow as it spins but doesn't light up.

The lighthouse is 14 inches high

Mine only lasted about 18 Months, has now had the Top bit cut off for a Statue and the bottom will eventually be a Water Tower.

The swith usually goes rusty. First fix is to short it out.

Mine was the Red, White and Blue as bought from BnM.

They were any two for £19.99 a few years back in Lathams of Potter Heigham (part of the QD empire). I didn't want a windmill so plumped for the lighthouses -no blue though, just red and white. Here's what happened to the one that has stopped working.

Looking at it again though the colour is the same but mine is most certainly round, thinner at the top. How things change.
