This is my Operations diagram, I did do one in the early days to show how the line fitted into the Garden but as my Garden is long and thin the scalling was so small as to be pretty well meaningless. Plus doublemdeck does not show up so well.

My 'plot' is a weird shape and I had to look up the descriptive term - Irregular Quadrilateral (four sided area, where all sides are of different lengths and no internal angles are the same). Consequently is doesn't lend itself to an Ordnance Survey version on a rectangular page. Here's a simplified schematic I did to show the locations of all feeds and isolating breaks to help with any future fault-finding.
EDIT: In response to MaybachD's post #40 - layout is wired for all analogue, all DCC (LGB MTS2) or any combination on each of the four independent circuits by simply switching controller(s) and changing cable and plugs (7 pin car trailer sockets used to accept feeds to the layout).

I am aiming for the biggest shunting puzzle I can manage, with the option for continuous running.
Edit: K is a JOKO and L is a 200mm vehicle that I have called an SLU.

The second is similar but bigger and squeezed in the middle, a dogbone.

This is indoor 4 x 6 meters - height 0.85 meter

Good idea. Always good to be inspired by others. Schematic sketch attached. I haven’t drawn the line before. It runs from the house, skirting the patio to the end of the garden. Fruchtecke is behind the greenhouse, Kalkstein in a flower bed on the patio. Storage is down the side of the house In a lean to. Originally I had a 16mm line, 32mm gauge but it was never reliable and was prone to derailments, unreliable live steam and diesels whose batteries went flat at the most inconvenient moment. It was out of use for a few years then LGB dawned. Rebuilt it started off inspired by ÖBB lines but is now largely DR 750mm with some Harz. The continuous run makes all the difference. It was one of the last bits to be added.

Afternoon all. Have downloaded Anyrail but can't use it yet so what you have here is what you get. It gives you the idea of what is and is yet to be. Lower dogbone is restricted to R1 curves though the left hand end might eventually be pushed out to R3. The extension will be R3. Everything in a 70' by 8' run.

Here is mine, green is mainline, red are reverse sections, yellow for the yard. It started as a folded dog bone along 2 sides of the house. Its 400ft of track.

Oh I have another to add to this, my former small line in Luton. All LGB Track built for Electric Power and Operation.

This is mine, called Bernigadine. The "atelier" (workshop) line has not been realised so far and if you look at the station called Zuoz, the track leaving the station to the left (and to the other station) has been modified, it is the top track that has been connected (hope this is clear).

Thanks Duncan, I had to move all the track to the edges of the property or next to the house to accomodate walkways on both sides of the house, and also keep the curves to a minimum 10 foot diameter.

Luckily I got one side of the house for the switchyard, that helps a lot. We run long trains, 35 to 50 cars, so needed the footage. Will be adding some more sidings/spurs for operations. There are two 35 foot passing sidings, so you can run trains in both directions on the main line. The little loop in the back yard is for roundy-round while drinking a Scotch.

I forgot to mention another change. The junction on the right hand side has been modified from the beginning of the layout construction. The attachments show the modification described in my earlier post and the change of the junction.

There is no better reason. I would add that it gives constant motion for for the younger ones to watch.
