Hi Folks. As we are in the process of extend the garden railway at Bridgend and district model engineering society I have had to sketch out both the existing and proposed parts of the layout to take to our members meeting. There is a bit of over lap of the drawings so you should be able to work out what it looks like as a whole. Anyway as I have them I thought I would add them to this thread. Regards, David.

Here's a nearly up to date sketch of my effort, it's 70cm off the floor as my back and knees aren't what they were. There is talk of a major extension without a land grab, but it is just talk at the mo.

You seem to have a greater number of scales/gauges going than any of us.

Hi Jasper.

Yes we seem to have quite a few at various places around the B&D model engineering 4 acre site, we do have z, n, ho, 00, and 0 track powered indoors 32mm (sm32), 45mm (sm45 and G), 3½", 5", and 7½" gauge unpowered tracks, outdoors. We have a loop where we can run 'ride on' scale traction engines. Some members also bring in their stationary engines to show us from time to time. Most MES do have a number of different scales represented on their site, but having listed them we do seem to have a good representation.
