The radio control on Europa my Roundhouse Billy has been upgraded from 27mhz to 2.4ghz. The locomotive seems to perform rather more smoothly with the 2.4ghz.

In spite of all the reterick when RC Changed to 27mhz, 2.4ghz is noticeably better and not affected by any interferance. All you need now is a SloMo.

I'm not sure about the Jon, I can run my Europa very slowly and smoothly already. It would be interesting to do some comparison trials with a SloMo equipped locomotive.

Will try for a visit sometime with mine. But need to do some work on Billy as I managed to trash tge Battery Holder and a new one is Gaffa Taped on top of the Tank Darj Coal Store like, not pretty but it works.
