Round Robin boxcar

I do hope you have not been drinking Cyril:bigsmile:

Oh Dear sorry did not mean to rattle any cages, it just appeared difficult to track the little beast down. So as I see things now it should be moving to me then Giles after 55.5 has done his thing. I intend to use it as quickly as possible (hopefully on the day it arrives) then deliver it to Giles at his convenience. Then we will need an address for it to go after that.

sober as a judge Steve, I've actually got a little HLW production line going here at the moment, having sourced a few of the little blighters recently. I'm about to pack up for the night , I'll have a wee libation tomorrow though

Right, here it is in Darlington - Birthplace of the Railway.
Was going to get a snap of it next to Gormleys brick loco but the weather has put paid to that.
Just see what a difference a day makes in the pics.
Have PM'd Chris M for his address to no avail. Should I forward it to Rob S?

Or dare I say it Dunnyrail?

Earlier today on the Quinton Line...
Old Zac was sitting reading in the engineer's mess room when young Brad burst in excitedly shouting "Its here! Its here!". "What's here?" grunted Zac." The round robin box car of course" exclaimed Brad. "Well that's all very well but its minus 5 out there. You'll not be running any trains with all that ice on the track" retorted Zac. "It will be ok" said Brad with a smile, "we converted the Davenport to battery power last month and that will work just fine."
And so it was that the round robin boxcar had its run on the Quinton Line. It is due to stop off at Kirtley Works on Tuesday night before being despatched towards Rob S.

Due to severe ice on one section of track the load had to be reduced. It was chuffin cold out there.

Sent a second pm to Rob S today. If I don't get a reply by the weekend I will send it off to the next on the list. First pm may have gone astray - wouldn't be the first one I sent to the wrong person this week.

May not be your end have had some P.C. pain recently after
a software up date that I did not ask for or wan't.
It decided some things did not need to work like they should.
Took days to get rid of it :angry::angry:

Nice pic's  especially like the colour of the Davenport
given me another choice to think about

Rob
If you are free on Sunday you could pop over to the Warley clubrooms to collect it. It's our free open day and its only just down the road at Oldbury.

Nice pics Chris, cant wait to see the next ones.....Helen.

Well had a visit from a very nice chap Chris M- Birmingham
on Saturday morning, it then persisted it down for the next
3hours :bleh:

Mind the sun did come out eventually and the RR - Boxcar
had a run round the Stock yards

Rule 8 definately applies here i have not got what you might
call a regular Garden Railway yet, but i have now got the track
and the makings to expand (with planning permission as well)

So for now i content my self in the Stock Yards, mainly shunting
but there are two continuos circuits, which at scale speed take
between2-3 minutes to go round

Pic's - hope the quality is good enough and i hope you enjoy them
Helen, I had a very plesent afternoon taking them

aye up lads, anyone know where the van has disapeared to.
after an express trip round the north east and on to midlands the last post was on 19/02/2011. WHO IS SLOWING IT DOWN THEN.?????.:impatient::impatient::impatient:

Hi Allan
Posted from RobS and 'tis here at BCRR. Unfortunately family events have meant that it has not hit my layout as quick as I hoped so a little hold up..sorry lads.
Will be with Tony by weekend and will probably feature at Stuart's meet on Saturday and then either Bigjack or Gizzy or MMTS then possibly to Zerogee, Don, Dudley and onwards through the list. So a lot of lads will get it in a short space of time as we are all pretty close to each other over here.
Hoping to get some shots today/tomorrow before it goes to Tony
