Round Robin boxcar

This evening the crew of the last fast passenger train of the day found an unexpected box car at the interchange with the TVBL.

Geoff had inspected it earlier in the week but hadn't thought it was for onwards transit on the EK&KLR. Well urgent instructions from the Small Controller were to ship it on to the HH&DLR, last minute and in a panic and so with much huffing and puffing it was added to the rear of the last train of the day.

Geoff hopes it's the last he sees of it as he's been dodging the paperwork all week!

Blimey that box looks like an old steamer trunk!!! Glad to see it's on the move again looks really nice with all the different "graffiti" on it.............

vandals!! look at all that stuff-must be the damned meerkats-

Plenty of room on each end panel for further vandalism. ;-)

Save some space for our soggy corner of the world!

As Bruce said, the "Round Robin" boxvan has made a whistle stop visit to the Withy Grove Junction.

Firstly a stop at the brewery to stock up for a delivery.......

And then a drop off of some much needed supplies

The van was sent on its way in the "safe?" hands of Mr Duffy, to continue its trip round the North West

Room for a few more names on all those box vans Mike:rolf:

The box car made it to the "Leyland Garstang and Burscough" railway today but before pictures some news.

Myself and Mrs Netty have seperated! Things have been up and down for quite some time and unfortunately it has come to this. However it is not all bad. we still get on and there is much more peace and harmony now I live elsewhere :rolf:. No one is blaming anyone for anything but it has happened. We both have good days and bad days. Any of you who know Jay, please please don't be any different with her she likes everyone on the forum and was often stood behind me whilst we had a laugh with people on here and has met a good number of you. PLEASE do not use this thread to make comments on the above statement. PM me/us if you like but don't use this thread please.

The Leyland, Garstang and Burscough is still up and running (just) I have neglected it very much over the last year or so but it is likely that there will still be the running day in October. We really enjoy everyone visiting for many reasons.

Anyway Piccys

The first few piccys are at the old place. Billy (Newshy on here) is the new CME. The last couple at the new gaff, moved in last weekend. The new place is rented so until I'm settled there will be a temporary set up. Mike brought some track today:bigsmile: add few pallets, plants and matting and away we go

I have been looking forward to the truck coming here for a long time. It seems silly to say this but I was quite moved. Such a nice thing to do, so special knowing where it has been and exciting to think where it will go to next. Paul, when it gets back to you I think that it will become one of the most treasured G scale posessions. Thanks Mike. The meerkats now have a crate of beer to drink:thumbup:

Well, i've had the boxcar for a few hours, who wants pictures?
Boxcar with railbus
