With winter coming a new project is requited so i have decided to bulid a signal box based on the Piko Rosenbach . Thought inwould go for the bulding in progress look so maybe half built roof .

Littie more progress on Roof , blocks glued together slow progress to many other hobbies and family duties .

Looking good Steve - what glue did you use. I have tried 'grab fix' type glues with some success.
 
Some cheapo no nails it will be covered with rendering and wood cladding so should be ok .

Looking forward to seeing this ..
 
Morning on the tiles , as the roof is only going to be partialy finnished i have opted to make each tile individually .

Hi Jack , yes its a builders block Celcron here i believe can be cut and scorred easily . You can make all sorts this viaduct has been out in all weathers for years now

Wow awesome stuff. That viaduct is out of this world. Great job. I will be looking this stuff up. Thanks for the info..
 
Celcon Steve, no R in it. Celcon is a trade name for aerated blocks - also Thermalite, Quinn.
They have been in short supply lately because they are made from coal power station slag and that is not as common as it once was.

Thanks. Yes I started looking for it and I haven't found a suppier in us yet . I will change the spelling. Really cool stuff.
