Roof shingles search

I am scratch building some structures for my planned US late 19/early 20th C layout - saloon, sheriffs office, general store, couple of cabins etc. Have been looking for some roofing shingles or tiles/slates in scale.
I can find UK sources at 1.12 dolls house scale but these would just not look right. Then from a forum source thread I have discovered BantaWorks models in Vermont USA. Wonderful entire building models in laser cut ply with great detailing and cheaper than Pola/Pika resin types. They sell furniture and materials and have sheets of shingles which would be perfect and not outrageously expensive but when I add the postage from US it doubles the price - and there is always the chance of a Uk customs duty being applied when they come in.
Couple of questions -
Does anyone have any Banta works products and are they as good as they look in their web catalogue, and
Does anyone know of a UK/europe source for g scale roofing shingles/tiles/slates?

Might be a lot of cutting, but if you were to cut the 1/12 scale shingles into 4 1/24 Scale....

I bought these on Ebay, stock was in UK, about 5 years ago. Hopefully details on pack will help. Tried website, shown not found.1/2" inch scale = 1:24, which is about right if your structures are matching in with 1:19 - 1:29. Found them on Etsy live now, link below. Hope this helps, Max

I was going to say try Dolls House 1:24 sometimes called 1/2 inch scale in Dolls House circles.

My OCD nephew 3D printed hundreds of individual tiles for a 1:24 water mill, to decorate the quayside at his model boat club

Thanks for help and leads. Found the half inch shingle product on Etsy - it's out of stock but I will be notified when it's in. I hope my fat old fingers can cope with the tiny individual shingles!

Use a nice set of flat tweezers.
