I'm pretty certain they were Deltang based, so either PhilP or Fosworks could supply something that will work. The problem being the postage across the pond. I'm not sure whether anybody in the USA or Oz/New Zealand are offering post-Deltang type controllersWhat sort of transmitter as I cannot find RCS on the Webb now?
This company advertises in the New Zealand Garden Whistle magazine. Also you should contact Micron Radio Control in the UK because RCS used their products for a while. With the closing of RCS what can I replace my RCS transmitter with without replacing the loco electronics?
Don Sweet?I can probably help..
There was a US supplier of the receivers, but I am d*mn*d if I can remember who it was, and whether he built Transmitters.

If you can post a picture of your transmitter, and an idea of what you think the problem is, I can make some suggestions..

It was the DSM2 bit that I couldn't rememberIf I go to fosworks I will have to change to his receivers and I would prefer not to do that.View attachment 330340
Maybe I was thinking of Dave Goodson.I know of Don, but I don't think so?

Well 'we' who were based on Deltang, are now based on Micron modules..The unit I have is working fine. With several steam engines I was trying to be prepared for a transmitter failure. It's an old age thing![]()
Do you make and sell something that would work and that is similar to the unit I have? If so, please tell me how I can purchase one.Well 'we' who were based on Deltang, are now based on Micron modules..
So there are (at least) two of us making units that will work with your receivers.

I had a Deltang kit, which worked but had limited range. Tony suggested it was because it was small and my hand obstructed the signal. That is a Deltang-based transmitter..
What is the problem with it?
My version is this:

Whilst Deltang is ok for range it is nothing like so extensive as Fisworks. Even Crest is somewhat limited in comparison, I have some of all 3 systems.I had a Deltang kit, which worked but had limited range. Tony suggested it was because it was small and my hand obstructed the signal.
Last I checked (2023) Micron's website said they were producing a compatible TX?
