To cut the the chase, does anyone have or know of pictures or videos of an RhB themed layout using LGB R2 curves? That would help me greatly. If you want to know why read on.

Thanks GNB GNB that helps a lot, not too bad on R2 at first glance.

I have taken the plunge and dismantled my R1 layout and set up a basic R2 loop and siding. I must say the difference in running and appearance is remarkable, better than I thought it would be. I have ordered and received a Bertram Heyn LGB standard R2 point kit (780 mm rad, 330 mm long) and I am in the process of putting it together. I will start a new thread to document and review the kit.

More like "A nice bit of kit" I would think?

"Kit" is this context, is a piece of equipment, tool, what-have-you, specific to the task.

So a stainless-steel border spade. - As opposed to the more mundane item.
A really nice tool, compared to a more mundane offering.

HTH? (Hope That Helps)
