Pwll Dylluan Railway - Welsh NG in the mountains

Ahh, a good old ash tree. There was a big one at the old house and it caused a right mess in autumn. Love the viaduct, with the railway clinging to the embankment, rather than passing through the central arch.
Thankyou
it was rather dictated by circumstances, but I prefer it like that too - sort of suggests a river should be down the middle, and I had planned a bit of disused tramway from the quarry down the other side

Countess the green engine back from "Crewe" with improved running 2.4 r/c. Needs its own steam oil. Reminiscent of an Awdry story.
Ran well, 2 runs up and down the highland extension, and a bit of shunting, on one steamingIMAG0218.jpg

Out on the line yesterday, 2 in steam with the battery Stainz and tippers doing circuits by itself to add to the variety.
Getting the hang of the Countess now

IMAG0407_1_20160330_010002.jpg The two battery rc locos make shunting train load combinations more interesting

not done much on the railway all Summer - other distractions
Went to the Exeter Show to meet up with a friend, though and got a sheep wagon, so ran a train or two in the sun yesterday.
the Highland extension needs some attention, though, leaves, moles and broken sleepers, so all lowland this time
pleased with the wagon
