Push Notifications

Even though I select "Never ask again", I continue to get asked every couple of days to a week.

"We strongly recommend enabling push notifications on this device so that you can be kept up-to-date with site activity.
Enable notifications Ask me another time Never ask again"

I cancelled mine and, touch wood, they haven't popped up again! Why do I need notifying that someone has reacted to a posting when I'm looking at my emails?

I can only suggest two things you might try:

With the Weekly Digest we started getting, there was a Clue in it saying that you may need to check email preferences in your profile..

Also, since saying 'no' have you logged out, then back in again? - The system may only read this setting on login??

Other than that, it would probably require Paul to have a look for you..

I don't block cookies for this site. I do clear cookies occasionally but these messages appear whether a clearing occurred or not; one does not follow the other with predictability.
