Programming with NCE PROCAB (CS02 command station) - anyone got any ideas, I need to change the channel/address on a switch decoder from the assigned #1-4 to #5-8. I spent hours trying various methods on a Massoth 4K II switch decoder & eventually gave up thinking my PIKO 35103 sw decoder would be a lot easier - but exactly the same result. I've tried... using Program Track mode & Program ACCY on Main modes, placing 100ohm resistors in parallel to the switch outputs & across the DCC supply; the big problem is since the PROCAB can't read a CV easily it's not simple to confirm if it's writing but I suspect it isn't. Even the PIKO with the jumper installed same problems. About to contact supplier & hoping he can program the Massoth decoder for me .. but wondered if you had any insights, I know the NCE PROCAB has a horrible history of this .. time to buy a power booster for the PT mode I guess??
