Planet T 5 Transmitter

I have recently purchased a Roundhouse Katie that has Radio Control fitted. The transmitter should be a Planet T5 and the receiver is an R6M, unfortunately the seller kept the transmitter to control his locomotive and I thought that the Planet T5 was still available from what i’d seen on various web sites. Unfortunately the Planet T5 is no longer available.

My question are there any other transmitters that will work with the R6M receiver? If I have to replace the receiver and get a new transmitter can anyone recommend a suitable combination (receiver & transmitter) for a Roundhouse Katie?
 
Unfortunately, unless a manufacturer specifically states the their X transmitter is compatible with Y transmitter, then it probably isn't..

You might find one on EvilBay??

You might enquire of Roundhouse?

I could suggest some replacement equipment, but do not want the wrath of the Mods..

well you are in luck, I recently removed a T5 from one of my Roundhouse Locomotives replacing it with Peter Spoerer kit. PM me if you are interested.
 
Hi Yep. The picture was taken on Lake Windermere during the Waterhead Race. That Laser is my old Laser with sail number 177885, I bought a new Laser in August and now race under sail number 213074.

Do you sail? Have a boat? ⛵️
