Partial failure of MTS2 unit

Whilst running my analogue Bachmann Annie on a friend's layout which uses the LGB 55005 unit the loco ran for just over 1 lap but as it crossed the points (LGB) it stopped and refused to run further although the lights were on and the motor was buzzing. An LGB tram also displayed the same characteristics but refused to run.
The digital running was unaffected.
The MTS cutout did not trip.
Is there a separate fuse within the unit which only affects the analogue function or has something fried?
Any ideas/solutions welcomed.

Address L-- 0 was on the readout. Not sure what the 0-22V mode is.

I believe the 0-22 mode is pure DC. You have to press the reset and the 0-22 buttons on the central station at the same time and release them. The status LED changes colour to indicate that you are in 0-22 mode, I think to a yellow.

Might be worth a try next time you run a non LGB DC powered loco....

We only run on the layout once every 2 weeks but I will pass the message on. Perhaps Ken can bring the MTS unit around to me and we can try it out. He does not have a layout at home.

Hi kieth i'm sure this has happened before... i just pressed and held in both buttons on the central station and it all work... changes from green to yellow i think... i will check on saturday

I assume that the loco shorted out momentarily on the point as the front bogie derailed but it was not long enough to cause the main unit to trip.

The interface connectors are above the power connectors.
On MTSIII they are t'other way round.
The single interface socket on the left is a Booster connection

No it's only on the MTSIII as its the only one with a Dimax port, it will be on the right hand side of where you plug the booster in, if my memory serves me right...

What I should have said was: -

MTSII = 55005 / 55005p (includes a 5pin DIN bus connector)
MTSI = 55000

Kens MTS set is a 2 . We are not talking of the clubs MTS 3
MTS 2 will not switch to analogue running automatically
Have talked it over with Ken on Tuesday evening.
Told him to press the reset and 0-22 buttons together till he gets the yellow led
