I promised some pixxies of these rakes but can't remember who to, so you all get a shuftie.
Note that the ore wagons have only 2cm of gravel in them, metal wheels but none of my locos will pull all 4!
Steve, can I borrow your V52 to test?

T'was I asking!

Nice work!

Never seen those hoppers before though? I now understand why you may need to borrow a V52, or two! They look heavy duty indeed.

Are they LGB?

And what's with the 'orse's 'oofs....

And what did you use for gravel?

The real deal?

The hoppers are these:

by far the cheapest on the net (cheaper than used on ebay!) so I bought 4 to run as two pairs.
The gravel is coarse gravel from the CFL, they use it for pathways and one of the guys brought a big bag thinking it would do as ballast, but it's a tad too big.
The horse has been on here before, it's 1:1 plastic. Purely decorative. It's on the railway for the winter so I can clear and repaint the terrace.

Nice weathering job Puggy mate!! On the loco as well as the wagons .
High praise indeed from the master! Grasshopper takes a bow :admire:
But don't tell Tiggy about the loco, it was clean when I got it off him...but not for long (cue Vincent Price cackle)

Very nicely done. I haven't tackled weathering as yet. I would love to give it a try.
