That glove is serving a very important function

It is protecting the pond liner from being punctured by the saw teeth!!

That leaves a gap to the right here

Do I use this odd broken bridge bit for the front

And use a solid wall piece ( also broken) fo the back

The back will not be seen much due to vegitation

I think it will look better than a solid wall at the front

Besides I may be short of blank wall panels, as I plan to use them for the quay wall

In fact I may need the broken one as well,

So might just have a blank wall at back of gap section

So went with the broken bridge casting Did not have any paving slab left to cut up, so made a formwork out of some 2 x 1 & poured concrete in Then joined the broken bits in situ with a small mix of mortar with pva in

The line to feed the quay sidings will come in around here below the stoneyard

The rubber mat is where the canal basin will be, with the canal going off in the distance where that white plank is

The canal will dissapear in to a tunnel to be built here.
By building a small planter over the tunnel, that will make the bridge over there shorter
