Track loosely relaid across top of new base concrete,

now track is realigned,

that siding will be extended up to the cliff wall up by the tunnel mouth

Entrance to Stoneyard, the moss thrives on the hypertuffa here as it faces north,

& is sheltered from the wind by the trees

In between renovating the ancient shed I have been trying to get the levels right for the bridge going over the top water feature The water level will be at top edge of the red bricks shown temporarily supporting the arches

New supports will have to be cast for footing the arches

When I cast these parts last autumn I was not sure where I would be using them, so made them shorter

wont really matter as the detail thats already on them will be above water

The new supports will be below water level so detail wont be so noticable anyway on them

That front step will be raised to same height as the red brick top edges, to form a weir that will tumble the water down into a larger water feature where quays & sidings will be located at waters edge

Chuckle, chuckle I did but I keep changing it Originally there was going to be a siding on the quayside from a point just off the arched bridge But then decided it would be to high or too steep to get down to the water level so now the current plan is to run a siding off the Wheal prosper branch from the other end into the canal basin, which will be more or less a level run in

In fact the two loops are overlaid one above the other on different levels
