Col that looks much better as well as being easier for the logos, but my word, it is still steep! As Mel says! Is that like a 7% gradient? Wow would love to see some trains running any vids?
No vids yet James,I'll do some when the Stainz I'm working on is (finally) finished.
That climb is, I think, the third steepest,I don't have any major problems but I run short trains mainly.
Two new coaches arrived today courtesy of a forum member
They were given a run out prior to a visit to the carriage shop
Unusually No1 was in charge of the train there being no banking duties to perform today
Nice to catch up. I look forward to playing with this layout. It looks like there is plenty to think about. And I like steep banks nothing like a traction contest. I keep wondering how to introduce some into my layout.
I'm looking forward to seeing how other people get on running trains,it could be interesting Ian
This is the idea James, not a very neat job just a test with my new air brush over christmas

One of the lines locos is going on trial to a lesser known Manx railway.
As this loco has not been fully appraised on the GWLR following it's winter time purchase a load test train was run.
Following a weather related lull in the proceedings a long operating session has been undertaken and the station building lights successfully tested
An ECS plus Post van working pauses at Milburn
