Its supposed to be like how it is in the picture I've posted, as well don't suppose anyone knows the part number for the steps on the front of the loco, I need a new smokebox handle as well? I can't seem to find the part numbers.. I don't know German either :D

Not sure if you are still playing with this beast of yours, discovered this thread after converting mine to a Batty Loco. The Silver bit at the front should be tight in the Black Housing as my apicture shows. Discovered this when putting mine back togeher after converting to a Battey Power and wondering why the Valve Gear kept bashing the Wheel Nuts and not revolving properly. The old Glue in the Housing was the giveaway when I looked at it. See my Pic below. image.jpeg
