Kit content:

DSCN0029.jpg

a sheet of paper print, trasparent polycarbonate and a plastic net.

Wood Tables

DSCN0031.jpg

Instruction are all photographic, same as BR18 very easy to follow
In the box are present original spanish instruction manual and a second copy in your language.

DSCN0033.jpg

I have done a speedy look to the manual and this model also seems to me more complex than BR18.
It is essential to have a cutter capable of making 90 ° measured cuts.

That looks though it will build into something quite special, you certainly have the skills. But the work and patience required for one of their kits, quite some dedication is required. 1 Madrid tram kit was enough for me. Are their decals still just the printed paper you need to cut and paste ? Max

The bathroom
to highlight the tiles I used a ruler and a glass cutter.
the tiles are printed on a sheet of paper, so they are matt, to make them shiny I applied transparent tape and then I remarked the lines with the glass cutter.
on paper it is important to use the right glue, vinyl or glue and water-based paint, you must not use cyanoacrylate or oily paints, shellac etc.. otherwise the paper will stain, you can see a cianoacrilate stain under the copper towel rails.

I paint bathroom sanitary with Vallejo acrylic water based color, then I apply Humbrol clear.

Yes.. decal are fine print but normal paper. but I think is a good choice for the parts I have just made, paper allowed me to mark them and create the bas-relief effect.
the only really important thing is to be careful not to stain it otherwise it is necessary to paint

The tiles look so real - very clever stuff. I wouldn't have the patience. Looking forward to this coach trip!

This model Costa MZA compared With BR18 experience is totally different, is more similar to a wooden ship construction kit
and maybe this Costa kit is more difficult, BR18 really is not, everybody with patience and minimum pratice can do BR18.
Also my photo helps and OcCre give a prompt support online, I ask they support about motor units best way to fit in tender and they answer me immediately.
In this Costa kit is very important to have a good sharp cutting tool as to make around two or three hundred 12mm wooden tables and other calibrated measures.

look why.. but is really beautiful and awesome to built

I have made a wodden frame to cut glass all the same.
glass are microscope slides 27x76mm 1,4mm thick
to cut glass you need adecent glass cutter and a corundum file to trim the edges

Now I'm doing the seats, I've just finished the second-class ones
instead of painting the seats, I preferred to cover them with silk.

DSCN0085.jpg

as a primer for metal I used shellac, it works very well as a cling for water-based paints

DSCN0086.jpg

I rounded the seats by scraping on a glass-paper table

DSCN0093.jpg

I coated it by gluing the silk

DSCN0091.jpg

DSCN0094.jpg

DSCN0092.jpg

I fix corners with ciano glue and after a paint with shellac this is the result
