Is it just my perception, or do others agree that there seems to be pretty much b*gger-all LGB or other quality G stuff up on UK evilBay these days? If you can be bothered to scroll through the hundreds of posts for "conductive glue" that apparently doesn't work, plus all the Chinese figure knock-offs and packs of 1/24 scale bathroom fittings, there seems to be hardly anything on offer, particularly for the Euro profile buyer. OK, there is a bit more US stuff and the odd Piko item or LGB start set, but nothing like the quantity of decent kit for sale that there has been over the last couple of years.

Opinions on why that might be? Are people hanging onto stuff in the hope of getting better prices for it later? Are eBay charges and rules so ludicrous now that no-one who is serious about what they are selling bothers to use them anymore?

little on ebay uk, but decline hasnt hit ebay germany, lots of bargins there, but you often have to ask if they post to uk, most will even if it doesnt say on listing

I´ve noticed that items don´t show up in Ebay France if offered in the UK - and - where the sellers don´t explicitly say they will ship out the UK. That might mean that you don´t catch what´s going on on the German Ebay site. Is this just me, or have others seen this too?

if you think theres no lgb about be thankfull you don't do usa 1 20,3,,,, very little about indeed at ok prices

think everyones holding on to it,,,, if 7/8s takes of then maby some will switch scales

cant remember last time I saw any decent accucraft/ams stock out there,,, bit of Bachmann spectrum but all very pricy

I'm fully aware of the fact that the G sections of German eBay are still very healthy, and I've done much of my more recent buying there. Just speculating on the possible reasons for the apparent decline on the UK side. How are eBay USA and Australia faring, are you chaps seeing similar effects or are your markets still good?

I've noticed that the amount of LGB goes through fits and phases on eBay. These dips in the quantity do occur, but I agree, there is a lot less and for a longer period than normal.
