I have developed various 3D printable items, such as lamps, semaphores, etc.

It isn't an advertising by any means, but I'm just wondering if I supply kits of these things, that will include both 3D printed components and all required hardware - would there be market for it? Just exploring a possibilities. Not like I see it as a viable business for now - but maybe one day when I'll work less at my daily business...

I didn't properly costed any of these items, but lamps probably can be offered at about £12-15, ready to assemble.

Anything I have on my line - are iterations that worked. The lamps survived British winter no problem - i took one apart - no signs of water ingress or corrosion. I had failed prototypes before - but i am learning to make this stuff weather resistant1000031266.jpg1000031267.jpg1000031265.jpg.

Also there is a Facebook thingies that you coukd also sell by including Ebay as well. So plenty of options for worthwhile G scale items. May be worth researching these before you think about listing just to ensure that you are not duplicating the market with any one item.

That's only makes sense if scaled. Or after retirement. Else time cost will eat into this heavily.

The quality looks good, so I'd say, yes, there would be a market for them.

I assume you're looking at using brass or stainless steel screws to improve their weather proofing?

I really think the best thing to do is to put your .stl files in the library in here so everybody can share them.
