Very nice work, though I have used the Bachman Motor Block and found them to be inferior of running to LGB. But USA Blocks are OK. Best of luck with your conversions.

The reason that I wanted to used the Bachmann block is beceause the new Bachmann block is dcc ready and have a 8 pin socket and I can made them under the floor. so I have a flat floor. For the freight tram I can used a LGB or a USA trains moterblock.

:o Pictures showing up as little box with red x..... and do not open, well, at least on my poota. No problem with photos on this thread from others.

Hope you will have an official investigation Harry - it's quite clear who had the right of way ;D

Obviously the Portugese motorman had the right of way.... He was in front. :P :P :o :o ;D ;D

Sorry Gavin, but the problem seems confined to the capital (or your pooter), as they display correctly at the other end of the island.

That accident is commoner on real lines than you might hopoe :D

Photos nicely working here too. Happened to me before Gav, and when I came to thread again later the photos were there. The curiosity of the internet!

Some nice work on the trams indeed :)

Hello Harry,
sorry for that, but I sold my very old bachman tram, some months ago. So I have no more spare parts for it.

Today a parcel via DHL has been deliverd: ;D

I took it to my work place and set up a short test track. It runs perfect. Only the two headlights are not working. But that dosn't matter.
They will be replaced with LED's. Also the inside lights will be changed into LED. Two motors are used for the tram.

The unknowm scratchbuilder made it very simple. But for me ot is a good starter kit. There is a lot to do.

56510-modellbau-4-achser-tw-03.11.2014.jpg

I will fit some more structure to the roof. Boxes for the resistors will be installled and a bit more detailed roof will come.

To motorized boogies are used for the tram. It looks like, that the unknown builder used a metall plate undernees the chassis. The boogies runs on the R1 curves, even on a zig zag route.

The couplings on both sides are well sprung, but I have to look, how it was made of.

Whilest I'm witing these post, my "new" 4- axle tram stands on my desktop. And... what shall I say??? It feld in love to harry's trailer. Look at these, please: ::)

Better I'm going now.

Cheers Peter
