Just obtained one of these locos for christmas. Has anyone made one DCC and if so what chip did you use? Was it easy to do?

Sorry, no sound, just bog standard dcc. I have used a zimo chip before, in a Lyn, would it be a simple push fit, or would it need wiring in etc?

Not a push fit you will need to wire it in. Perhaps a Piko Chip may work best for you if you are not too confident with fitting Chips. The instructions show how to fit one. Though not the cheepest option.

I thought these were actually wired for fitting a high-power HO decoder, rather than the big G scale one? Or I may have just imagined reading that somewhere..... ;)
