New L&BR Loco.

Many years ago I purchased a GRS L&B Manning Wardle loco kit. I opened the box and admired all the bits then closed it! OMG too much for me I am afraid. Three years ago, talking to a guy at the Waikato GR Convention, he offered to build it for me. It has taken a while but what a job he has done- I am so thrilled. He actually is a professional modelmaker and while it may have cost a few dollars the proof is in the pudding. I now am almost complete with the L&B set- just the Accucraft Lew to go- if they can get the green paint right.

For anyone baulking at the price, Heljan have just announced they will be doing them in 009 soon, so you might get the fleet for the same as one G kit

Yes it is an electric one. I am not too sure whether to DCC it or R/C it? Will just take my time on this one- I do have a R/C kit there ready to go.

Ah when you said you almost had the set I thought you meant one of each! one of each type then? No Lew isn't out yet and I think it may be very late this or early next year before we see them.
