Sorry to put the cat amongst the pigeons here. Securing Astroturf to ply - wood staples or long thumb tacks. As used in the upholstery and carpeting world. Then long, say 30/40 mm panel pins to secure the track to the base. What those little holes in the sleepers were designed for. All these are what I used on my old extensive, plywood based Scalextric layout and the indoor section on my line, that uses recycled elements, including tacks, pins & staples (!), of the former. I don't think the humidity will be that high in in the cellar. OP said they would have some form of air con. Below - L-R Panel pins, wood staples, thumb tacks.

No, screws hold just the ply in place. As @maxi-model says, pins/tacks hold the track to the baseboard. Plastic sleepers may need a small hole drilling in them first -they can be surprisingly tough!

I secured my Planks now laying down the Astroturf But those brass screws are moch wider then the holes in the LGB Track.

Countersunk screws are of no little or no use on LGB sleepers. If you must use screws use roundhead type, they have flat undersides to screw head. Just drill out holle in sleeper to match diameter of screw body. If you c/s a plastic sleeper to fit a c/s screw you will weaken its surface structure, if you don't you will overstress it when you screw down tight and it will look unsightly. Really those little holes in the LGB sleepers are that size so you can tap panel pins in to secure to wood bases. It's all you need to secure reliably. See picture below, look carefully, its dead center (Bachmann 45mm track used here, exactly same principal as LGB's) I only pinned one in 3 holes. Max

Don't screw the track down to tight..
It only needs to be held in place to stop it creeping and the joints working apart.
If you screw it down too tightly, you deform the sleepers (ties) and it pulls the rail head in reducing track gauge.
