Need idiots direction on analog rail truck sound install.

Im reworking my new lgb rail truck. Will be a characture of RGS 6. Silver, black engine cowl top, added center roof headlight, roof gas tank, possibly roof marker lights, rear tail light, powered headlights, possibly lighted dashboard.
I know how to add lighting. Have done this twice previously.

I would like to add a gas motor sound. Simply hook up to track power leads and be done.
I would like this to start up/ rev before the truck begins to move.

I assume ill need to put the speaker in the open bed area and use some sort of cover/tarpaulin.

I dont want to, nor know how to program.

What is/are my option(s).
Would appreciate actual brand, model, and speaker info so that i can order.

Guidance is always appreciated.

By analogue, presumably DC, what system are you actually running?

Knowing if it is PWM to the track, means I can make 'better' suggestions, but our new 'Mini' version of the MyLocoSound Railbus card will do this.

My conversion on an Accucraft Goose #2, using PhillP supplied RC Trains kit. This is a full house battery/rc job. You only need the sound card and speaker. That has the standard size MLS card sitting between motor and speaker. The mini MLS is around 1/3 the size, even with screw terminals, solder on are available. About the size of the RX/ESC card that is sitting front and center in the shot. PhilP can supply way more compact speakers too. Why on earth did I post this shot ? Oh yes, it's a Goose and Phil's kit Max.

No ‘system’. Its not pulse wave, if thats wahat PWM means.
Bridgewerks pure dc 15 amp.

Again, i want to attach it to the rail truck’s motor block power pins.

If lgb made a sound box with gas motor sound, thats what i would buy.

Problem is whatever you use, will need more volts to 'wake up' than the motor needs to turn..

There was an Analogue Motor Controller board, which slugs the power to the motor, to allow the electronics to wake up. - I believe I got the last of these from Europe, a year or so back..
I do have a schematic (reverse engineered) so could theoretically produce a copy.

You can use a rechargeable battery, which will keep sounds running whilst stationary.

You could use a Massoth S, if you can get one (are they still being made?) - two wires direct to DC track power (brown and white) and then just plug in a speaker to the CT socket. A huge range of sound files, including several nice "chuggy" petrol motor sounds for railbuses and the like.
You'd have to have the sound file you wanted programmed in, but any Massoth dealer should be able to do this if you buy the unit from them (and in the past I've sent units off to dealers to have them reprogrammed with different files, for a nominal charge).
