My pal Jack bought a huge collection of circus wagons, flatcars, etc., and with them were 2 heavily customized logging locos.
This 2-4-4-0 obviously took two of the "Columbia" 2-4-2s, and the tender seems to be from a Christmas New Bright engine. The builder (not me) did a wonderful job on the details, adding brass piping, handrails, toolboxes, and ropes to the bell and whistle.
These engines break the gear, and this one is no exception - it just clicks if you add power. Fortunately, our friend Mr Gear Man Jiro Yeramian has the gear, which I already fitted to the other engine:
This is an 0-4-0 with lots of details added, and a new tender. As I replaced the gear, I found 2 wires leading from the motor which helped testing and enabled us to connect a battery car as Jack has no track power. (The wires need hiding, obviously.)
