Apologies if this is a duplicate thread, but if there is one, I can't find it.

Who is planning on going to Peterborough next week? I will be on the IOM 15mil Group Stand as will, I think, Mr Fezwig of this parish. I have seen in another post that Tac will be there; will others be in the hall?

I will be there as a visitator.. ;) Trying to spend money, when SW isn't looking! :mask:

Does anyone have experience of Logopolis? - 16mm badged garments?
Specifically, their turn-round times. - Disorganised, as ever! :(

I may or may not go, I was reticent last year but perhaps not so this year. Trying to think of the last show I went to perhaps G3 one early 2020 just before lockdown?

All being well I'll be there. Hoping to see the production sample of my retirement present to myself - Locoworks Upnor Castle. Max

With Llangollen and Llanfair in this part of the country, I'll be giving it a miss. It's a bit of a trek getting across East/West.

Sadly, I will be unable to get across, due the father in law being in hospital and the rail strike (how ironic!!) on Sat.

Have ticket, will travel. Going with an old chum and will mostly be watching him distribute his money, though I will be looking to buy a Pola station clock, to replace one which has rusted up inside and won't run. Hey, big spender.

Ah yes, the rail strike -I hadn't thought of that. I may leave home even earlier to avoid the hoi polloi on the way up. I will have to trust to luck on the return home, I suppose...

I hope your FIL improves and is out of hospital before long.

Yes Railway strike could be an issue, wonder if the bus to the Station will still be running. Not easy to get to the show from the centre of town any other way except perhaps a Taxi. Cost of Show bus was I think £10 a bit of an off put when you factor that with train costs.

Will there be a mass GSC meet up? In the past a certain time at the G Society stand was agreed on.

’m very sorry to advise that we have cancelled the Shuttle Bus Service on Saturday 25th June between Peterborough Railway Station and the Arena. This decision was taken earlier today in consultation with the company offering the service and after discussion by the Board of the Association. The Train Operating Companies released their emergency timetables at the weekend and it is now clear that very few rail services will stop at Peterborough during the rail dispute, the third day of which is planned for Saturday 25th June. Review of the majority of the tickets sold at the time of cancelling the service showed that their holders are highly unlikely to be able conveniently to use rail as their basis of travel to the show and indeed some have already requested refunds.

All affected ticket holders have been contacted and refunds are in process. Entry Tickets to the show itself remain valid and the show goes ahead as planned. We very much regret having to take this action and we hope that it does not prevent people from attending the show.

unfortunately it's been cancelled

We will be travelling from Nottingham, and have a couple of spare seats in the car, if you don't mind slumming it?

With big-bores, and small-pistons, you might have to get out on the hills, though! :D

Does not sir-rise me, do not use Social Media that much so would likely have missed that post on FB 16mm site.

Unfortunately, I’m also not going to make it - still glowing in the dark after latest treatment ☹️

Tac - If I see you at the show...
I will say, "Hello flower!"
:D :D

MiniMike going as well so he may have another Railway visit or two if the owners let him in their Stations, though with his reputation for beer swilling and womanising they may be reticent to let him!
