I have been asked by MDC to clarify the delivery times for the plates that they produce, based on their recent experience.
Name and number plates are produced totally in-house by MDC and, as before, their aim is to despatch plates within one month from date of order.
Works plates require the production of custom artwork and specially made layout transfers, both of which are produced by contractors, and this is reflected in their cost. It is unfortunate but inevitable that delays in this process can occur for all sorts of reasons, so the delivery time target for any order including works plates of any kind is now two months.
