I got the best pics when i made a make shift tripod yes, although i only used the preset night time settings rather than messing around with the appeture/ISO settings. I did a few weeks working with a professional photography company and learnt all about it, i just presume it didn't sink in quite far enoughTony said:Obviously apeture settings help but a decent tripod will go a long way..if not if your cam has a timer then take them with that and the cam on something solid
