Hello Everyone

Is there any one or group going to the model railway show in Goopingen on the 15-17th sept interested in another member traveling with them? I would try to go alone but (i have previous ) of getting lost!

It is not difficult to get there. I usually stay at the Station Hotel in Stuttgart and take the S Bahn to Goppingen. There is a good taxi service from the station to the factory as well as a bus service. Here with a photo of the old Museum. The new one is being built.

In the years since I have owned my set of TEN Gauge 1 'ozeanblau' passenger cars and live-steam Bavarian pacific, I have contacted Maerklin spares/service maybe half a dozen times.

In German, too, just in case anything gets lost in translation.

I've never once received any form of response.

Thankishly, I don't have to buy any more of their stuff, and never will.
