Market Day on the PLR (v2)

Up Matket Mixed approaching Beston looked like it could have done with a Banking Engine judging by the slipping. Great Vid Rik, many thanks for posting.

Bloomin' leaves on the line! Thanks for the idea, Jon. Now that would make an interesting manoeuvre .......

Yes, I noticed that as the passenger pulled into Beeston Market station. The train had been sitting in the sun for a while and then went into the shade - maybe that created some condensation - either that or it's a trick of the light.

Alternatively, it is nearly Hallowe'en ..........

I normally try to pick quiet moments to do the filming but I seemed to have picked two of the noisiest days in the year!! The dog next door was particularly manic on the second day - on the first day the neighbours were using a pressure washer to clean their patio. The builders down the road decided to use their angle grinder to cut paving slabs or their circular saw to cut timber and then the people living behind got someone in with a chain saw to cut down some of their shrubs. On top of it all, they seemed to have diverted most of the flights into Manchester directly over our house!

Fortunately one of the resident robins decided to put in a vocal appearance from time to time .......

All that lot always happens when you are trying to do vids. Almost as though that is what you are doing. Dog barking not out of place though.

Actually, having a banking loco for the entire journey would be a brilliant idea. It would overcome the need to run round the train at Bickerton. This is a complicated manoeuvre as the train is longer than the loop.

Thanks again for the idea!

I love the mix of the mixed, and those L&M esque coaches.

The whole line has some real atmosphere - a bit of W&L and Tallylyn - really nice :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Love your railroad. The Moss and mature foliage really makes a realistic scene. Thanks for sharing. These are the things that inspire me to keep working on making my railroad better.

Keep at it. It just takes a little time. Be great to see some pictures as it develops.
