As I haven't found any other reference to it here, you may not all be aware that Mamod are about to launch a live steam tram. It will have a twin-oscillating cylinder geared motor and probably the option of R/C. It's 240mm long and 120mm wide, so will go well with G-scale stock. It appears to continue the move to produce more up-market products started with the Sterling and Quarry locos.

So it is basically a Chaloner with a tram body?

looks morelia the Brunel
Brunel only has 1 cylinder. Chaloner has 2, which is why I picked it. I'm also thinking they are trying to compete with Regner and the "Paul" tram, which has a similar spec and r/c.
Any better pics? MSS just has the electric Y6 tram.

You can see it bench running on the Facebook 16mm Mamod and oscillator page. Here are a couple of pics of the first prototype and interior layout. The plan so far is for the steam exhaust to be routed thru the floor as they don’t want oil and condensation dropping down the burner funnel

With the exception of the pop-rivets that is shaping up very nicely.

Looks good, and has the one thing that the Brunel is missing, a proper steam oil delivery system
