Morning good people,

We are currently building a beach on our line, and would like to make it as realistic as possible. Can anyone recommend what stones/grit to use to give a good impression of scale shingle? And has anyone made a sandy beach?
If you have made a beach then tips would be most welcome!!

Thanks in advance!

Rob

Must say I've never tried to make one, but would sharp sand (concreting sand, not agrigate) give the texture you want? You might need to pick out some of the larger lumps, or not as you prefer. Making scale sandcastles could be fun!

Glue or concrete the thing. My girls had a sandbox when they were little. If you covered it the ants took over, if you didn't it became a giant litterbox for every stray and his/her extended family.
