About 3 weeks ago we had the idea to create a "make a wish" style train to supplement our Dutch "make a wish" style ambulance.
The Garden Rail is closed for the saison , so time for a viuw other items .
We plan to use the train to promote awareness for ALS and various types of cancer.
The entire train will be painted yellow and blue and decorated to match our ambulance vehicle.
The train will contain one German "make a wish" type car sponsored by the ASB Ruhr ambulance service.
ASB Ruhr will use the train for promotional events as needed. The train consist is as follows:
1 x locomotive
1 x passenger car
2 x container cars
4 x flat cars
1 x US caboose with blue flashing lights
The locomotive has been painted and has blue flashing lights as well as an ESU decoder with ambulance sounds triggered by the function keys.
The passenger car will be painted yellow and blue like the locomotive.
One half of the car will have passenger seating and the other half will be equipped with beds and care facilities.
The container cars will be decorated with various "make a wish" style decals.
The flat cars will carry ambulances with "make a wish" style markings, 3 Dutch and one German.
The complete train wil be about 5 + lmeters ong , 1 Loco 10 wagons , so in the naer future i hope to get a second loco , so i can split in 2 sepeate treins .
But the whole idea is to suport the Dutch/German wish ambulance en othe things like ALS , Cancer Batten and others .
What is the make a wish ambulance .
I am a volenteer at the wish ammulance in Enschede , we do have 4 ambulances , with we use to verfill the last wishes , that could be to see the beach ,or to be at the wedding in the family .
Or to see for the last time Disney land , paris ore to go to spain , with our ambualnces we arange that , no costs , the patient wich is will .
